6/10 Probably if we would have stayed 2-3 nights instead of 7 everything would be perfect and we wouldn't notice several things. HOTEL - SERVICE, ROOM: Our visit started late at evening and we had very good administration experience with Elena who showed and explained for us a map, bus stations, taxi and even best shopping places for your interests! Room was clean to a good standart, we didn't new that "bath towel on the ground" will not work here, so we asked for clean towels by ourself. Hotel is noisy. And by noisy I mean that you can hear how people in other rooms (including upstair rooms) are opening waredrobe, using bathroom etc. Once again probably if we would have stayed there less we wouldn't pay attention to it. Opened to childrens and we were thinking that upstairs living a family with children who liked to jump most of the time. Room service is unpredictable, no one is knocking before coming to clean to check if someone is inside so your owns fault if you love to sleep till afternoon in your holiday. It wasn't a big issue for us since wer'e cleaning after ourself. Some rooms allow to smoke inside and I don't know was it from next doors or from where but you can feel smokes inside your non smoker room as well - Italians smoke everywhere even in museums so no big wonder on that. Beds.We ordered a double room which normally would have one double bed, right? In our room we had 3 single sized beds and from 2 of them were made a double bed. Large gap between our beds didn't allow us to sleep as close to each other like normally we do. So we tried to fix it with that 3rd beds sheets and still felt like we could hide a body in this gap. Didn't get a good night rest for a week... You can pay extra €20 for requesting a different bed, though. BREAKFAST: Breakfast each day was the same - bread (with a chance to toast it), butter, very few cheese and 2 kind of ham slices, 2 kind of pies (may be some vary by days), kellogs and yoghurt. Have to ask for coffee and tea which you can have only in the breakfast time (there isn't like a setted coffee table in a room with kettle). You can choose water, apple juice or some berry jam dring (wasnt a juice, like with a bits). No fruits or vegetables if you are a vegetarian, vegan or someone with intolerance for gluten ( luckily we don't mind for bread, kellogs, dairy or meat). At the beggining we thought that Italians don't eat breakfast at all... WI-FI, LANGUAGE AND OTHER THINGS Wi-fi signal overall was good.During these 7days we met 2 persons who could communicate in english very well, 2 understood what we were asking and 1 tried to understand and very helpful! Learned some italian phrases in these couple of days and we were good with things we had and service recieved. We were happy to see the wooden windows instead of clear curtains, so in the night and early morning was a pinch black in a room. Air con was a +++ for room since out there was +32'C with 0% humidity (beggining of september). If your'e in need you can use computer for free and print some tickets with an extra help of administration. In a waredrobe we had a litle safe were to hold our passports, money and other things with bigger value. We falled for a good price and pictures through BOOKING - bought without looking reviews, exact location, extra charges (exp. Parking place - €15/day) since it was a closest and cheapest opportunity to city centre.

It was easy to get the bus to and from Santa Maria Novella. The rooms were spotless and the breakfast garden was lovely. Staying in this neighbourhood also allowed us to discover two amazing restaurants nearby, and frequent the shops and market at Le Cure.

nice place in a fine neighborhood. 15 minutes by bus from city centre (be aware about bus timetable). the room is quite clean and the breakfast is good enough. the right accomodation if you want to save money and reach downtown in few minutes.
