Fenice Palace

Everything about this stay was perfect from the service to the rooms and the staff. Location is great within steps to everything. The staff was so helpful prior to our arrival as they were able to secure us a dinner reservation at a place that only took phone reservations. Breakfast was on par with any 5 star hotel we’ve stayed at. Thank you for a perfect stay!

I stayed at the Hotel Spadai for three nights at the beginning of a multiple city trip, and I absolutely loved it. First off, the location is amazing. It's about 100m from the Piazza Del Duomo, which made it a great 'home-base' for exploring Florence. During my stay, it was easy to leave the hotel, explore, come back for a mid-day break from the heat, then head out again for dinner. The only time I ever used a taxi was going to and from the airport. The staff were also wonderful. When I first arrived, I was a bit frazzled because my luggage had been delayed at my layover airport. The staff at the front desk were welcoming, spoke great English, and reassured me that once my bags did make it to the hotel, they would contact me directly and have them delivered to my room. The accommodations were also wonderful. My room was spacious, well lit, and very comfortable, with good AC. The bathroom was large, and I really liked that the shower had a full length glass door, which kept the rest of the bathroom dry. I want to especially shout out the housekeeping staff for how incredibly clean the room was. On one day of my stay, I came back to my room to find a little card under the corner of the bed with a message along the lines of "we clean everywhere", and on my last night, there was a nice card with chocolates. Those were great touches that made my stay all the more special. All in all, Hotel Spadai was the perfect place to stay in Florence, and I look forward to staying with them again.
