Absolutely the best solution I have ever chosen in Florence. I go to Florence once a year, I have tried different structures but this one absolutely wins. It wins for practicality and comfort. Located in Borgo San Lorenzo, therefore attached to the Duomo, it is in a strategic point to reach every important place in Florence. Check in performed remotely with a super practical system for releasing passwords and unlock codes. Clean and simple. Double if not triple glazing allows you to rest very well despite overlooking a street full of tourists and non-tourists. I will definitely be back!

We stayed in this apartment for a short stay in Florence, I must say that the location is very central but the rest is all a program, the room is very small and poorly distributed, the bed is completely uncomfortable with noisy springs and very, very thin pillows, the the bathroom, however, has a shower head with very slow pressure and the door to get into the shower was found to be broken. Overall, if you don't have any expectations you can stay for a day but in my opinion it is highly recommended.

Very good location, a stone's throw from Duomo Square but THAT'S ALL! The rest of the experience was catastrophic!! We were extremely disappointed by this 3 day and 3 night stay! First of all, very poor communication upstream on the fact that there is no live contact. Everything is digital: you have to send identity cards by WhatsApp (what about identity theft) and pay via a link which leaves something to be desired in terms of security! We did not want to pay online but preferred to pay in cash for what the person we spoke to via WhatsApp offered us: we therefore deposited €330 in cash in the box next to our room. We were not even able to hand-deliver this substantial sum. It seems like they don’t want to meet their customers!! We had the room titled “suite”, which is to say that it is the complete opposite of a suite: It’s a non-ergonomic room, not practical and really not comfortable: - Stairs of around twenty steps (not specified in the ad, not great when your knee hurts) to access, on the one hand, a bathroom with a very low ceiling and very small and, on the other hand, a very spacious terrace (butts), without light since the bulb was burnt out and despite our request it was not changed (complicated to enjoy it in the evening when night has fallen) and which overlooks an interior courtyard where the smells of sewers and cooking (fried food) from restaurants fight a duel! In short, anything but pleasant when you want to breathe or enjoy the terrace! - No windows, the only openings are the wooden door giving access to the terrace and a small skylight which must be opened from the upper floor and blocked from below so that it remains ajar (you go up and down goes down steps in 3 days)! This was not specified in the ad! There is also a skylight which does not open and offers a real well of light right above the bed in the bedroom since there are no opaque and covering shutters/curtains: we are therefore awakened very early by daylight, i.e. 6 hours at this time of year, a bit harsh for a vacation! - No air conditioning but a fan, which is specified in the ad, but unbearable when you see how hot it is in Florence and we have no real openings to circulate the air, especially when it smells of smells of cooking and sewage… it’s camping! - No cleaning service (surprising all the same, especially when we stay 3 days): we still raised this point to our contact who told us that cleaning was carried out when stays were longer than 3 days... as per By chance, we stayed 3 days! Therefore, you should not expect to have extra shower gel or toilet paper! - No storage, we live in suitcases and apart from the bed and the terrace which is not pleasant because of the smells we don't know where to rest! - No parking even though we had booked this hotel because it indicated parking... after asking our contact "the site is not up to date" great! We therefore had to add 60€ of parking to our costs! (In fact, we highly recommend Garage Santa Croce, they are great!) In short, we absolutely do not recommend! To flee without hesitation!!! It’s a great scam! In our opinion, we paid a lot thinking we would enjoy a quality room with a terrace but it was quite the opposite! We obviously expressed our dissatisfaction, without ever having a response or an apology! A very disappointing experience which gave a somewhat bitter taste to our stay in Florence! Being woken up the first morning by daylight and heat at 6 a.m., the second morning by workers unblocking the sewers at 6:30 a.m. so thanks to the smell and the noise... the third night you get used to it!
