Hotel Il Granduca

This is a very cozy hotel for a mid-price range, that is close to all the Florence beautiful places. The staff is very friendly, have in mind that parking is possible only on street and you might to have to drive for a while till you find an empty space. The only drawback of the hotel was breakfast, that were quite poor.

I recently stayed at Granduca for 2 nights. Location wise it isn't that far at all from the city centre, about a 7-minute cab. Rooms were clean, spacious and were perfect for my family. With a decent breakfast and very helpful and kind staff; I have nothing negative to say. My only possible complaint was that the Wi-Fi signal was a little weak from my room, and it did become a little frustrating at times. Overall, great trip and awesome value for money.

Nice hotel with big, clean room. Nice courtyard and decent breakfast. What really made this hotel great though was the staff. I had been left in the lurch by an Airbnb host that cancelled at the last minute and they saved my bacon! After I explained the situation they gave me a discounted room. They were very friendly, helpful,accommodating and tolerant of my terrible Italian!
