Single room for one night, full of mosquitoes, no window with only a skylight on the ceiling. Broken bidet faucet, hair on the sheets, unpaired and felted towels... it’s okay that it’s a two star (even if I paid 94€ for it!) but a minimum of decorum...

Think twice before booking. My colleague and I are teachers and wanted to take our class to Florence from Switzerland. Unfortunately there were train strikes all over Italy on monday 22.09, and floods in the North, so we couldn’t make it to Florence, despite spending hours on trains. We were booked for the entire week, and we informed the property as soon as it became clear we were going back, through the booking app. After trying to reason with the owner, a rather rude man, he claims he didn’t receive our message, which is rather dishonest, as we can prove we wrote (message is still on the app). They charged us for the entire week.

The hotel is located in a very quiet area, close to the Nelson Mandela Forum and a couple of kilometers from the historic center. You can easily find free parking. Large, clean rooms, with air conditioning and a terrace overlooking a quiet outdoor courtyard. Rich breakfast buffet, good coffee and homemade cakes. Honestly, I would stay there again...
