We made a reservation for three people several days in advance and it was completely confirmed. However, just **two hours before check-in** they called us to tell us that they were canceling the reservation because they had made a "pricing error." In other words, their lack of professionalism ended up harming the customers. The most outrageous thing was the treatment received. They called us only in English and, when I explained that I did not speak the language, instead of trying to communicate in another way or looking for a solution, they simply hung up on me. I tried to contact the accommodation through the Booking chat and they never responded. They did not offer an alternative, compensation, or even the slightest assistance. They literally left us on the street in the middle of high season, forcing us to get emergency accommodation and pay much more because of their irresponsibility. A serious establishment does not confirm reservations only to cancel them later when the price does not suit them. If there really was an error, it is an internal problem that should never fall on the customer, much less a few hours before check-in. I would not recommend this accommodation to anyone. If you value your time, your money, and the peace of mind of your vacation, look for another place. The lack of professionalism, empathy, and responsibility was absolute.

Very quiet room despite its position on a very busy street. Close to the train station. Breakfast little varied and especially in a room where you can barely move. Too many tables in a tight space. No elevator.

I was uncertain between three or four stars, but in the end I gave the highest rating especially to reward one of the staff members, Mrs. Vanessa. We found her at the reception, in the breakfast room, where she did her best to make us find vegan food, to do the cleaning, she offered to bring my wife’s suitcase and all with a smile. Coming to the evaluations: Location: excellent, a few dozen meters from the train station and the Duomo. Structure: housed in a historic building has no elevator. So if you have difficulty with stairs or heavy suitcases (unless Vanessa is around), avoid. Room: spacious and clean. A touch more two free bottles of water in the mini bar. WiFi, mini bar, TV, kettle and safe are there. Avoid rooms on floor 1 next to the breakfast room if you are light sleepy. Our room was well sounded, but I would still avoid it. Breakfast: the thing we least liked. Little choice, especially on the savory side, but the staff tried to meet us as best they could. Price: good, considering the city and the holiday period.
