We spent 5 wonderful days at Palazzo Alfieri in August 2026, traveling as two couples to celebrate a 40th birthday. The service throughout our stay was outstanding. The staff is not only super friendly and warm, but exceptionally professional. A few highlights that made our stay truly special: Unmatched Birthday Surprise Service: Prior to arrival, we arranged for a bottle of Prosecco and a chocolate cake to be placed in the birthday couple’s room at check-in. The front desk team executed this surprise flawlessly. They even removed the extra charge for the cake and Prosecco from our check-in receipt so the couple wouldn't suspect a thing while we were all settling our rooms! That level of thought and attention to detail is rare and deeply appreciated. Proactive Customer Care: When the AC in our room wasn't cooling properly, the staff immediately tried to fix it. After a couple of attempts, they proactively offered us a room change. Handling an issue so smoothly and generously speaks volumes about their commitment to customer service. Delightful Breakfast: The breakfast buffet is small, cozy, and packed with a fantastic variety of high-quality items to choose from. The complementary Prosecco was a wonderful bonus touch that the ladies thoroughly enjoyed! Prime Location: The hotel’s location in the center of Florence is unbeatable—ideal for walking everywhere and exploring the city effortlessly. Thank you to the entire team at Palazzo Alfieri for making our celebration so memorable. We would love to stay here again!

Music of the bar in the morning and the courtyard too loud, really not enjoyable if you are in a lower room. Sometimes they forget that it’s a hotel at the end of the day and you wanna sleep. Unfortunately here I have to break a horrible news that, as an Italian, I’m embarrassed…at breakfast instead of the Italian coffee machine they have the club med commercial automatic machine that you could find in a train station basically…shame on you guys, people come to Italy for quality not quantity and this lazy decision will def never make me come back nor recommend…

We had a suite with a beautiful view of the Arno and really enjoyed our stay at the Palazzo Aliferie. We also found the lovingly designed and beautiful courtyard especially nice – a small oasis in the middle of Florence. The location is truly perfect for exploring the city on foot: The famous Ponte Vecchio is only about 300 meters away, the Uffizi Gallery can be reached in about 500 meters, and the cathedral is also reachable in about 10 minutes on foot. For a city trip to Florence, the location could hardly be better. We arrived by car and can highly recommend the hotel's valet service. This made the arrival and parking completely uncomplicated and relaxed – a big advantage, especially in Florence. The breakfast also surprised us positively. For Italian standards, it was really very good, with a nice selection. Overall, a beautiful accommodation with an excellent location, great ambiance, and very pleasant service. We would come back anytime!
