Relais Villa Antea

This is a perfect place to stay in Florence. It is an old villa with charm It is quiet, the bedroom and bathroom were large and clean. There was a generous and delicious breakfast The owner is very friendly and helpful and the location is convenient We will definitely stay there again

Stayed 2 nights. We stayed in the garden room which was lovely. Really large room with a fab bathroom. Host and staff all very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast very good, which you have in a beautiful dining room. The villa is in a quiet location, but not too far from centre. This villa is a true gem in Florence.

We stayed at Villa Antea from 3rd March to 7th March 2020 just before Italy was in lock down due to coronavirus. We cannot praise Villa Antea or the owner enough, everything was perfect, the Villa is as beautiful as the website photos suggest and our room was very comfortable, spacious and we had everything we needed. The Villa is very conveniently located being in a quiet residential district but within walking distance of the sights. We walked everywhere and only used a tram once when we were tired. There are some lovely local restaurants and the Villa Antea guide which we were given was very useful for choosing restaurants, getting around etc. This was a very difficult time for the tourist industry in Florence however the owner could not do enough for us, gave us very good information and advice and ensured our first visit to Florence was a very memorable one. If you are going to Florence this is the place to stay! We thought it was also very good value.
