We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. We chose the valet service for our car. Unfortunately, the hotel's service severely damaged our vehicle's paint (fender and door). We filed a complaint and the hotel is investigating the incident. In the meantime, I am rating this hotel with only one star.

when I arrived they instantly offered me a free treat at the entrance and the room was very luxurious and it had a spa plus an amazing view of the arno river 10/10

I recently spent ten days in Tuscany and chose Florence as my base for the trip. I was looking for a comfortable hotel that would allow me to take day trips to nearby cities while returning to Florence each evening, thus avoiding the inconvenience of repeatedly packing, unpacking, checking in, and settling bills. After considerable research, I chose Hotel River & Spa, located on the banks of the Arno River, and it proved to be an excellent decision. The hotel is very well situated, comfortable, and, above all, distinguished by the kindness and professionalism of its staff. Upon our arrival after flying from San Diego to Florence, we found our room ready, with fruit and cookies thoughtfully arranged to welcome us at 11:00 p.m. It was a gracious and memorable gesture. Each morning, breakfast was delicious, abundant, varied, and served with impeccable attention. The reception staff, especially Ana, were consistently courteous and exceptionally helpful. On one occasion, I left my cellphone in a taxi, and she was able to locate it and arrange for its return in less than three hours. The room was always impeccably clean and very comfortable, with a pleasant view of the river from the first floor. I highly recommend this hotel. When I return to Florence, this will certainly be where I stay.
