Room Mate Luca

Lovely stay for 2 nights. Walking distance to major attractions and train station. Breakfast was wonderful. Nice view from 3rd floor room. Rooms are small but have everything you need. Lobby spacious with nice seating area. Solid choice. Very nice staff at front desk and breakfast.

The experience was great and I am happy to edit this review to what it should be after a problem has been amended. We paid in full before the holiday. Paid city tax on arrival. Left with nothing outstanding which they confirmed. Yet arrive home and there’s £724 pending to leave our bank account to room mate Luca! Very confused and distressed.

Lovely hotel in central location. Just returned from a weeks stay in beautiful Florence. Hotel Mate Luca was excellent. Very clean. Rooms con be cleaned every day if you wish. Friendly and helpful staff. Recommended & would stay here again. Comfy beds, excellent shower, lovely towels. Rooms had air con which was much needed. Rooms had kettle, mini bar with room for milk & water in fridge, hairdryer all appreciated as it mean’t less for us to pack. Very easy to get to hotel from airport. We used the T2 tram which is 25 minutes and e1.70 each. Most main attraction within easy walking distance. Florence is a beautiful city. It is bursting with original features. We loved looking at the beautiful architecture and spotting things like wine windows. The history is amazing. Lots of lovely places to eat & drink. We used the Santa Maria Novella train station and went to Rome and Pisa no problem. Piazza Michelangelo is very recommended for views. We did the red bus trip, boat trip on river Arno. We went to Uffizi gallery for free as we were there the first Sunday of the month. You have to que but its well worth it. We loved Florence and hotel Mate Luca was a big part of this. Thank you.
