Sempione Hotel

The hotel is beautiful and the staff are wonderful! The only reason I gave it two stars is because you can literally HEAR EVERYTHING! Anyone upstairs or downstairs or outside the hotel or in the elevator or the small refrigerator, literally everything made a sound, plus the room doesn't get dark at night. So even though the hotel is new and clean and very close to the train station, good luck getting sleep.

We stayed in apartment #1, which was around the corner and a short ways down the street from the main hotel. It was very roomy with a bedroom, a living space with pullout couch bed, small kitchen with dining table and bathroom. All spaces were roomy and the bedroom had lots of drawers and hanging space. There are two split a/c units and both worked extremely well, even with the heat wave happening when we were there. It is on the second (top) floor but there is a good elevator, if needed. The best part, though, was the approach - through an extensive garden! Very quiet and lovely respite from the busy city. The night and day managers were very friendly and helpful with all requests. We would highly recommend staying here.

We stayed one night after a wedding before flying home so spent very little time in the hotel. The welcome was fantastic with reception staff being extremely helpful. The room was modern and fresh and had everything we needed. The hotel is perfectly located.
