Check-in was easy, but there was a huge problem in the evening because there was no electricity in the entire hotel starting at 8:00 PM; we then called the hotel's customer service, which clearly did not take our request seriously and left us in complete darkness and heat (min. 30°C without A/C), we called a second time after an hour to finally learn that the person in charge had done absolutely nothing to resolve the situation. Result: a horrible night in the heat of Florence and no more confidence that the hotel managers will handle the problem and that it won't happen again in the future. This evening forced us to change hotels because we did not want to take the risk of enduring such a nightmarish evening again. Furthermore, the "breakfast" as advertised on the hotel's page is not one because we are redirected to a bakery where we receive max. 1 frozen croissant and nothing other than water or coffee. It is therefore for these reasons that we are requesting a refund. If only for the two nights (Saturday and Sunday night) that we will not spend at this hotel for the reasons cited previously. Central location. Good agreement with the garage Sant'Antonino. Enjoy the complimentary minibar products. We didn't notice much difference between a deluxe and a standard: in the deluxe bathroom we unfortunately noticed shower seals a little worn. The breakfast given in agreement with a pastry shop was objectively a little poor: a croissant (only some types indicatively from the pastry shop) plus a coffee or cappuccino are very little to be "breakfast included". At least one juice could be included.
