Golf Hotel Forte dei Marmi

We stayed in Golf hotel for two nights. The hotel has a central location, only about 800 metres from the city centre. Forte dei Marmi is a flat city with no hills so you can either walk or rent a bike (for free!) from the hotel and get to town in no time. The beach is also just a few hundred metres away. Talking about the hotel itself, the room was clean, the bed was comfy and the aircondition worked well. The bathroom and the room itself hadn’t been refurnished in many years, and I think now is about time to do something about that. But if you want to live centrally in Forte dei Marmi without paying insanely much, this is a good choice! But I must say that it is a bit sad not to have a balcony or a window to look out from from your hotel room:(

We arrive with a booking from booking.com and ask where to park the car. The owner told us anywhere along the road parking is free. When confronted and told him he advertise free parking, he got a terrible attitude and told us we are not welcome there as he doesn't like to be told he is dishonest. He fund us another hotel within 5 minutes.

We stayed in this lovely hotel for a week. We appriciated beautiful surroundings and short distance to beach, shops & restaurants. Our room & bathroom was very clean & comfortable. Liked the guality of the food served for our daily breakfest & dinner. But most important of all was the friendlines and willingness of the three siblings running the place. Our conversations with Stefano , who is very knowledgeable and passionate regarding photography and art were very enjoyable. We wished them all continuing success! Barbara & Jiri from Toronto
