Granduca Grosseto

We wanted to have a relaxing two-day stay in a hotel that was supposed to be a 4-star with a SPA. As soon as we arrived at the reception, there was no one there (and we should have understood something right then). After 10 minutes we checked in and upon arriving in the room we discovered that the hotel was stuck in the 70s... small, dirty elevators with a terrible smell and no air conditioning. Old and broken furniture. In the evening, back in the room, a terrible surprise... there were ants. So we called and they assigned us what was supposed to be a junior suite... broken power outlets, the bathroom was leaking, wardrobe doors were misaligned and to top it off, HAIR on the sheets. Tired and heartbroken, we took everything off and closed our eyes. Minimal breakfast.

the hotel is located in a quiet area, has a nice parking lot and is easy to reach. the room, very spacious and with a high ceiling, was equipped with an excellent air conditioning system. the furnishings were unique and pleasant. Very large and very comfortable double bed equipped with a very unique, gigantic reproduction of the red house of Castiglione della Pescaia on the headboard wall. finally a large television placed at the right height on a small table. bathroom not large but sufficient for comfortable use. Impeccable cleanliness. Good and varied breakfast, very kind and helpful staff.

Very nice hotel, comfortable and clean rooms, helpful and smiling staff, very good buffet breakfast and absolute tranquility
