Borgo Antico Fattoria Casalbosco

We had an amazing stay at Borgo Casalbosco from start to finish. The property is absolutely beautiful and has a lovely authentic charm. Staff were 10/10. We loved how peaceful and quiet it was with it being a smaller sized hotel it was never busy by the pool. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to be back

It’s not really a hotel, it’s more like a vacation rental. Average breakfast. A little too industrial. Lots of work in the expansion building next door. Annoying noise. Hours of access to the pool are limited. On the other hand they rent the pool area for private parties!! During our stay the party lasted until 2am. No bar or restaurant. Reception is closed from 7pm to 8-9am. In case of problems a number is given to you but no one answers. “Tenants” melt bbq by the pool in the late afternoon. The shower is tiny and full of mold. The bedding is good. Rooms are cleaned only every 3 days In short not great despite the place is beautiful.

We spent four nights here in August with our two children (4&2 years old). The accommodation is beautiful, the breakfast tastes delicious despite the small selection. The staff are very friendly. There is no water in the rooms. The fridge in the room is very small and only suitable for cooling drinks. Lunch and dinner in the area are rather difficult and we therefore went to Pistoia every day.
