Il Cochino

We ended up here by chance last night, the Cochino is an intimate restaurant that was recently renovated. Excellent quality and prices absolutely in line, in fact, given the goodness of the dishes I would say it is also inexpensive. Kind staff, amazing pici pasta with white Cinta Senese ragù. Definitely a place to return to!

Excellent restaurant, excellent menu, few dishes but all delicious, cooked properly with top-quality products. The portions are just right and the presentation is beautiful. The place is delightful and the staff is kind, competent, and pleasant. It really deserves it!!!!! Compliments!!!!

After about fifty years I returned to a restaurant in the town of Montale that I frequented as a young man. Beyond the exciting nostalgia I found a cozy place with dishes of remarkable quality. My wife and I opted for two specials: "pici with squid on cream of peas and bottarga" and "noodles pumpkin cream and crispy bacon" two excellences with a balanced taste that caressed our palate. To recall the ancient experiences we also tasted the "panzerotti', a dish that at the time I did not miss, what can I say: simply exceptional. In conclusion, the philosophy of the place also happens, I will certainly not wait years to come and taste the dishes that they propose. Special thanks to the managers for the warm welcome and attention throughout our stay in the restaurant.
