Giappone Inn Parking Hotel

Using the term "chilling" would be almost reductive to describe our experience, which unfortunately I cannot define in any other way than terrible. We paid €100 for one night in a facility that, due to its condition, cleanliness, and quality of service offered, I believe is absolutely not worth the amount requested. The room had several critical issues: pillows with holes and dirty, and, more generally, an extremely unpleasant odor that made the stay anything but pleasant. The most unpleasant episode, however, occurred on the morning of check-out. More than half an hour before the scheduled time, we were woken up by someone from the staff who knocked on the door in a way that was anything but discreet, saying from the outside: "Ladies and gentlemen, check-out is at 11." Beyond the fact that we would have gotten up on our own a few minutes later, I find it truly unprofessional to disturb and wake up guests well in advance to remind them of a check-out time that they had not even remotely exceeded yet. In many hotel stays, I had never encountered a situation like this. Considering the price paid, the condition of the room, the poor cleanliness, and the treatment received, my experience was decidedly negative. Personally, I would not return to this facility and I absolutely do not feel like recommending it.

One-night stay, rooms obsolete and very dirty, we found a dead cockroach under the bed, along with piles of dust. Room with a stench similar to mothballs. Little availability of reserved parking spaces, we left ours in a paid garage across the street. Breakfast without any kind of choice. I cannot report any positive notes except for the convenient location for reaching the boarding area at the port.

Foul-smelling rooms. Air conditioning that does not work. Worn-out furnishings. Truly a horrible place
