Hotel Villa Margherita

Stayed from August 24 to 26, 2026, after booking directly. It already looked like a nice place from the website, but the surprise when we arrived exceeded every expectation! A splendid villa, restored quite recently, with several terraces sloping down toward the cliff, which is accessed by a small door at the end of the last terrace. The first 2 terraces are used by the hotel restaurant for guests who include dining (excellent) in their stay; breakfast is included regardless. The other terraces are dedicated to guest relaxation, thanks to a pool with hydromassage and a larger one for cooling off. Slightly below the pool is a large solarium, with umbrellas and some natural shade, equipped with lounge chairs and deck chairs. Between the terraces, there are several corners with armchairs and sofas placed under the naturally refreshing shade of plants and trees. A true little paradise of tranquility, peace, and beauty. Another surprise was the room: large, spacious, with a bathroom (also nice and comfortable), equipped with a large walk-in shower with hydromassage. The large parking lot attached to the property is not insignificant. Also equipped with a large number of staff members, all always extremely kind and smiling, starting with the lady who welcomed us (I don't know her name but I know she is of Sicilian origin), who was also generous with useful advice. What can I say? Having chosen only breakfast, one evening we decided to have dinner there, and the restaurant also proved to be fully up to the task (I will write a separate review). A suggestion: the feeling is that the organization of the breakfast buffet is not up to the standard of everything else. Too concentrated in a room where, moreover, there is plenty of space. To be clear, the selection is wide and nothing is missing (although personally I would have liked to find whole fresh fruit, not just cut fruit (the eyes want their share too)). But it is only a minor detail that absolutely takes nothing away from the beautiful experience that we will certainly repeat. One last note (which has nothing to do with the hotel, the sea is not easy to access but it is a characteristic of the area; equip yourself with suitable water shoes). Thanks to the entire staff.

This magnificent nineteenth-century villa with on-site parking, which is excellent for Quercianella, offers old-world charm and an enchanting sea view. You can tell it has recently undergone major, well-finished renovation work (the entrance, especially the exterior glass, and perhaps the construction debris not left behind the bushes should certainly be evaluated), but everything looks very beautiful with infinity pools overlooking the sea (we'll overlook the staff who frequent the pool with their family members where the guests are), however, the beauty of the pool makes you forget even this, but the dining room service and table service show obvious flaws for the beauty of the property: dining room staff for dinner (very few tables) were unprofessional, not so much the waiter who, when I went to hand over the candles for the surprise cake (which was delicious, by the way), reciprocated by giving me the menus while standing to take to the table, leaving me perplexed, nor the other waiter who ruined the surprise of the cake because while talking at the table (too much, even) he asked me who the candles were for because there were too many for the little girl and too few for the Lady (a remark in poor taste), furthermore addressing us as "those from the pool," in short, a service totally in need of review. It is fine to create friendliness and empathy with the customer, but one must always understand where the boundary of good taste lies so as not to cross it, in order to avoid unpleasant incidents and useless gaffes, a service that does not reflect the beauty of the property and the dinner, which was very good by the way (the seafood pasta dishes are highly recommended) that was served to us. In short, a beauty that doesn't dance but for now limps, but I believe that by working on it, it will become even more beautiful, elegant, and attractive.

We went to dinner last night. The location is very beautiful and the food is satisfactory; it's a shame that the service leaves something to be desired: wait times are too long and orders were not followed (a 1-hour wait for the first course without them having brought us the appetizer we ordered first), and the dining room staff was inattentive (we requested a clean fork that never arrived, forcing us to then eat the first course cold). It is impossible to dry your hands in the bathroom. The thing we found most annoying is that they didn't even apologize for this chaos.
