Residence Villa Franca

I stayed in this facility from June 20 to 27; honestly, I struggle to understand the positive reviews because aside from the location, I found nothing positive. We were two couples and were given an apartment with a double bedroom and a single bedroom where two single beds were placed offset because it was so small that they only fit that way. The owner blamed Booking, with whom we made the reservation. Once settled, I want to emphasize that there was not even bedding, which one has to rent separately; it is the first time this has happened to me. We noticed that the apartment was very hot, and the owner told us that even the air conditioning was at an extra charge, another absurd thing these days. We checked, and indeed it is written on Booking that there is air conditioning, but at the bottom, if you look for it, there is a note stating that it must be paid for, and so we obviously paid for it because otherwise, it would have been impossible to sleep. The mattresses were extremely uncomfortable, probably worn out, and the kitchen had very few dishes. Fortunately, we dined out. The rooms have neither shutters nor blackout curtains, but rather wooden shutters that let in light, so I was awake at 5 in the morning. I mentioned this to the owner, and the next day he left a piece of cardboard on the terrace that we managed to cut and place on the glass. He did not come back to ask if we had solved the problem, so I do not know what this availability and friendliness of the owner consists of. We saw him again on the day of checkout to pay for the bedding and air conditioning. I would not recommend this facility to anyone; I repeat, aside from the location of our apartment from which we could see the sea, but others are tucked away where there is not even that. In my opinion, you can find better, and I advise everyone to read all the notes during the booking process to avoid finding themselves like us having to pay for even low-quality bedding and air conditioning....

Clean apartment and new structure, with terrace overlooking the sea enchanting.The owners are very kind and there is a new bar available to the residence that has a well-kept garden .The beach (beautiful also for snorkeling) is close enough, walking you go quietly and there are two restaurants, wanting sunbeds and pedal boats 'for a fee. Capoliveri, a few minutes drive, is lovely with many nice shops... we definitely recommend....
