Villa Teresa

An unforgettable vacation at Villa Teresa. The real turning point is the strategic location that allows you to reach both the beach and the center on foot in just a few minutes, forgetting about the car. Our independent little house offered excellent privacy and maximum independence, with cozy interiors and a beautiful private garden. The pool is beautiful and always clean, an excellent alternative to the sea. Highly recommended property! . Very kind and always available staff. We will definitely return.

We rented a Superior Villa right above the pool for two weeks. The place is dirty, see pictures, has little useful kitchen appliances, not even a sieve, totally old mismatched furniture, stone hard mattresses, and in this particular unit some electrical plugs did not function so we had to plug a kettle in by moving the furniture around. The German Receptionist greeted me with "I have not yet received a deposit from you" - his first sentence uttered upon our arrival. I told him I paid it back in February or March and he demanded to know exactly when. I told him to check his banking records. A day later I tried to call the office to get a salad spinner, no answer from 9 to 9.40 am. When I entered the office and questioned why he did not answer the phone, his comment. oh... I forgot to turn it on. I told him we would only stay one week and he demanded I pay for the second week as well and only if they could fill the unit again would they entertain to refund the payment for the second week. He tried to threaten me by bringing in some guy by the name of Massimo. Being a direct booking I refused to pay more than the balance for the first week and from then on he bombarded me daily with one or two text messages to come and pay. This place always shows their pool and garden in their advertising and now I understand why this is. If our unit is an example I would not want to show photos of them either. The unit we were in was a terrible pigsty and I had to pay 90 Euros cleaning at check out. Look at the photos, they tell the story.

We stayed at Villa Teresa in Sept 2019, this was our honeymoon and the owners were advised well in advance of this. We selected a room that we thought would suit our requirements only to find that we had been allocated a dark,lower ground floor room in the main building. On arrival we were handed our bed sheets to make our own bed?.. not quite what we had expected. The bathroom was in adequate and very dated, it was not a shower but a small bath in need of repair and refurbishment. You felt like you were sharing with the family next door as you could hear everything they were doing in there bathroom. The room came with no air conditioning just a small fan unit that was totally in adequate, not what the website suggested. We complained and asked to be moved but the manager just ignored our request and never got back to us. I would not recommend this accommodation as what you see on there website is not what you are getting.
