Emma B&B

My friend and I needed something for the very next day and we're so happy that Emma was so spontaneous. We could put our luggage in the corridor before the check in. Our room was just beautiful. The apartment had a few beds, a nice bathroom and a lovely stone wall. The selection of the breakfast was not that big but quiet good. You should order the cappuccino, its really tasty. Emma was a nice host and if you come to Lucca you should visit her!

I stayed here but would not return the host was lovely and pleasant but we were disappointed by the noise of the traffic all night.. You are woken in the morning by a screaming child and in the evening which really is a put off. I was disappointed with the breakfast even though it says breakfast is provided I was expecting a lovely Italian breakfast with a selection of meats,cheeses, breads etc instead it was a basic breakfast with spam, old coffee, no tea, no fruit, cheese dried cereal very poor indeed I think this should be improved. As for the facilities which were clean but the things like the shower rail falling on you when you take a shower and having to slam the bathroom door so it closes was annoying. Also the bedroom was basic a kettle was provided but no means to make tea or coffee. Wi-fi was a problem and only seemed to work on the last day. There was hardly any sheets on the bed and it was cold during the night. I shall not not return I am sure it can be improved by: 1. Providing a proper breakfast for guests 2.The screaming child through the day and night does not help 3.Ensure rooms equipped with warm bedding and if providing kettles in the rooms ensure coffee or tea sachets at least. Sorry but we shall not be returning.

We had the attic room which I have to say was enormous for the 4 of us. The accommodation was clean and the host very friendly. We did have difficultly finding the property but that was more down to locals send us the wrong way. Once you walk the correct direction the accommodation is 15 mins to the station.The city of Lucca is beautiful and worth a visit. Breakfast was adequate
