Hotel Melecchi

We stayed at this hotel during the first days of September. I had a pleasant surprise right away when booking by phone, as Mr. Giovanni (the owner) immediately made me feel at ease. The confirmation came upon our arrival, as we were welcomed as if we were family. Clean and quiet room, pleasant breakfast, family atmosphere, and private parking. Not far from the historic center inside the walls, and helped by the directions provided to us by the owners. I recommend it to people with a simple approach and a bit of an old-fashioned style. Had a lovely stay here. Super friendly welcome and service from the owner in this family-run hotel. It's got a lovely traditional Italian vibe and the room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very enjoyable too and excellent value. It's easily walkable from the train station and very near to one of the gates into the old town. There's also a handy Lidl very near to pick up a few essentials - like water and wine! Very happy to recommend.

Do not expect modern environments and luxury finishes, the rooms are very simple and very clean. Very kind owners. Convenient internal parking. We will gladly return.
