Beautiful location, central and close to everything. Poor breakfast, with shoulder instead of ham, and very few pastries! Outdated rooms but nice; overall, it deserves a passing grade.

Hotel in a great location in Lucca city centre. Rústic hotel but that’s not s bad thing. Bed was comfy, air conditioning worked and breakfast was standard and coffee was really good! If I was to come back to Lucca I would definitely stay here again.

After nearly 40 years of relationship with this hotel, I unfortunately find myself leaving a negative review. Following an incorrect booking (the day after for the day before) on Booking with a non-refundable rate, I requested a possible date change or an alternative solution just 2 hours after my mistake. Even Booking was willing to waive its commissions to facilitate an agreement. Despite this, the hotel maintained a completely rigid position, with no openness whatsoever. I find this lack of flexibility disappointing, especially in light of such a long historical relationship. It's truly a shame: after so many years, I would have expected greater attention towards a long-standing customer. I will not return to this establishment.
