Lucca in Villa San Marco

I book first on booking then I agree directly with the owners by writing to their email. There's four of us for one night. They accept our reservation and I clearly ask therefore to be able to cancel the reservation on booking, I am given confirmation. Therefore, I proceed. I always write to the owners by email until the day before to ask for confirmation of the booking and check-in and check-out operations, if there is parking etc etc. They confirm everything and start me the SECRET SAFE DEPOSIT BOX CODE to pick up the keys to the apartment. We arrive in Lucca, we find the villa, the code works, we get the keys... too bad there is no apartment available. The owner instead of apologizing for the inconvenience continues to blame the fact that the booking on booking was called (on his instructions) and therefore there is no apartment. Luckily I hadn't paid in advance. Really unserious owners. And we were left without accommodation for the night. Think about the safety of that place! With the keys we could have entered, for other things, all the rooms. Shame on you.

No good, no dishes, not even enough to have breakfast. Impression of letting go, fallow garden and several accommodations in a poorly insulated house, therefore extremely noisy. To avoid

Very comfortable ground floor apartment. Spacious bathroom, bedroom and living room with a kitchenette. Staff were amazing! I had a broken ankle at the time so it was very suitable for my needs. Car parking and pool for summer months. Very close to Lucca walled city entrances.
