Palazzo Rocchi

3rOur d visit and our friends 5th visit, very sad to see the decline. Our bathroom had a towel stuffed behind the toilet because of a leak. Our friends a/c was not working several times in temperatures over 30 degrees over our stay which led to some uncomfortable nights. When it was working it was noisy. No offer of rate reduction for the inconvenience. Had arranged with the hotel for a taxi to collect us from the airport, they forgot - this was rectified quickly on the night, but frustrating. Decor and particularly the bathrooms need updating, the hotel advertises itself as a Luxury Hotel, it no longer is, but the rates are still luxury

We had stayed at Palazzo Rocchi in May, a one-night stop during a trip and fell in love with this residence. We are back now where we spent four wonderful days in the city of Lucca, treasure chest priceless for the eyes and soul. We had the pleasure of staying in the bellavista suite, a terrace from which you can see all its towers with a spectacular view of Piazza San Michele. The apartment was extremely comfortable and furnished with class. The staff is of infinite kindness and does everything to make you feel at home.

Stunning period property. Lots of space and beautiful rooms with frescoed walls. Breakfast served in some rooms and in stunning lounge. This place oozes characterful charm. Right in the centre of beautuful Lucca. Staff were discrete and charming. Highly recommend this romantic Palazzo.
