Villa Tiziana Hotel

We arrived without a reservation and the staff were so kind to show us 3 rooms to choose from. We chose a beautiful, fully renovated room in an annexe behind the pool, which was just perfect! It had a wonderful large terrace and was incredibly quite and private. The hotel is like a garden of eden, with magnificent ancient umbrella pines and manicured gardens, as well as lovely private swimming pool and tennis court. There is also excellent shady and secure car parking. The main Villa is early 1900s, so is very elegant and extremely well maintained. Having an aperitivo in the wonderful gardens, as well as the lovely buffet breakfast, was so relaxing and quite magical. We loved it! The dinner in the large covered, open dining area was also very enjoyable. The staff at this hotel are incredibly hospitable, helpful and very kind. We loved our banter with Katia, the bar-tender and waitress - she's fabulous at what she does. We also loved the reception staff and Lori was particularly helpful and kind with us. They really go out of the their way with the guests and we often overheard them having conversations with young families, little children and others, always with that same care and kindness. It made us extremely happy. We would happily return and highly recommend this lovely hotel for it's charm, facilities, inclusions, gardens and close proximity to the gorgeous sandy beaches of Marina di Pietrasanta.

We had booked this hotel for two nights, but we decided to leave immediately after the first night , which was a nightmare , booked according to the photos , where everything looks beautiful , main reality as soon as you arrive you realize that the reception is the entrance they are all new , but the rest is old and dilapidated , we were assigned a small room where everything tasted old , we were asked to give us a room like the ones in the photos , but we were told that those are the standard rooms , and that there was nothing else available , in the afternoon it started to rain and the power and water went out , none of the staff tried to give some comfort to that discomfort , and they just said that things like this happen and you could not do anything , we could not take a shower or brush our teeth , we gave in to the room in the dark with uncomfortable and creaky beds , in the morning , the breakfast room looked like a battlefield already at 9 , dirty tables with all the dirt , the helpless staff ignoring us , at that point exhausted from a disastrous night , we checked out early , and they wanted us to pay the tourist taxes for two nights , no empathy no interest in trying to make up for all that disaster , unfortunately you can not give zero stars

Unprofessional staff starting from the owner, small and old room, elevator blocked. Nice park, the rest to forget.
