I stayed here for 6 nights with a Great Rail Journeys group. I cannot fault this hotel, everything was brilliant. My room was very comfortable, furnished in the Italian style. The room was cleaned and serviced everyday, linen and towels were lovely. Every member of staff was friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The biggest highlight for me was the food. The breakfast was delicious and so much choice. Of an evening we dined in the top floor restaurant which has stunning views of the surrounding area. I was part of a large group and was the only vegetarian, we had three courses every night, and every night they prepared me a special meal, the food was gorgeous and I must thank Ivan and his team for looking after me so well. The whole experience was eccellente, Grazie mille.

Very small rooms. Unable to open curtains as overlooking brick wall and someone’s apartment. Air con intermittent. No kettle in room . 8 hangers no drawer space no extra pillows. Food was not 5 star although breakfast good with lots of choices however only one coffee machine with one morning over 80 people queueing . Waiters were excellent and attentive

We stayed here for a week with Newmarket holidays. All the staff were friendly and professional. Our room was clean and comfortable. Dinner was a little up and down. But mainly good. But found there was a little too many courses for us but we were able to choose as much or as little as we wanted to so it was perfect for us. Staff were so friendly and attentive at every meal. At Breakfast there was more than enough choice for every taste. Only little niggle was that there was always a queue for the coffee machine so could really do with two. Over all we had a wonderful stay.
