Perfectly located close to the center of Montecatini and its station, the Hotel Puccini combines charm as well as comfort. We received a warm welcome on arrival and an impeccable friendly and professional service throughout our stay. My daughter and I stayed six nights half board and enjoyed tasty dinners and breakfasts. We had extreme high heat approaching 40° at times and could not, unfortunately, enjoy a Prosecco on the inviting sofas outside, retreating to the stylish air conditioned bar area where excellent music was always discreetly playing. We would highly recommend this well run hotel where we felt relaxed and at home.

The staff here are without exception the friendliest, professional and helpful of any Hotel we have ever stayed in. This hotel had a wonderful atmosphere, small enough to feel like family but with all the amenities that make a modern hotel stay comfortable. We were in a wonderful large room (110) which had a terrace out of the shuttered doors/ windows. The bathroom and everywhere was clean and kept that way from housekeeping. One recommendation would be to bring a kettle as the room didn't have one. The food was very good, and there was a home cooked feeling to it all. Dinner was 3 courses- with a choice between 2 dishes + vegetarian- that all went so well together. The waiting staff we so kind, willing and helpful and made everyone feel welcomed and special. There was plenty of choice at the breakfast buffet too. Lastly the ladies on reception were a joy and eager to help us have the best experience possible. All this and a great location, comfortable beds, lounge area, and music from Puccini just left me floating in a relaxed and happy sanctuary the whole 6 nights here. I really do want to come back!!! This hotel deserves to win awards!!

The hotel has seen better days. But the kindness of the dining staff and the quality of the food compensate for some of its shortcomings, except for the receptionists who, when you make a comment, only know how to respond that they need to discuss it with their boss and do nothing.
