Royal Palace

The room was good. It had a balcony. The included breakfast was fabulous with lots of choices. The hotel is centrally located. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was fine. The shower was okay.

Stayed here for Andrea Bocelli concert, Rooms clean, bedding changed everyday, nice hot showers, good air-con Stayed 1/2 board only bad thing was the food, breakfast was fine[continental] evening meal was a bit random, not the culinary delights you would expect in Italy, yeh we had pasta, but my wife cooks it better back home UK, service was a bit slow some evenings . This is never a five star hotel, I would mark it a three star, If I stayed again I would go B & B.

Great location but don't expect luxury. Definitely not four star as listed. Rooms are very basic but linen is changed daily and there is some air conditioning in the rooms. The staff are friendly but eat out as the food isn't great. However, a short walk to shops, restaurants and bars and the town is lovely. There are better hotels in Montecatini but its fine if all you need it for is to sleep.
