Casa di Bacco

We stayed some days at Agriturismo Casa di Bacco. We were looking for a quiet place to relax far from the city traffic. Location is fantastic, it's a great Tuscan Villa with beautifu views. The agriturismo is well positioned giving a great view on typical Chianti area. The pool was wide and rooms were clean. We are so happy of our stay and we would recommend the same! We hope to return in future!

Our large family of 16 just rented Casa di Bacco It was highly rated and seemed to fit our family's needs. It was closely situated so we could show our grandkids some wonderful sites in Tuscany and Umbria nearby. The second night we were there we drove to Cortona for dinner about 4:30 pm getting back at10:00. The caregiver had just gotten there before us but left quickly. All the rooms were locked and the keys were we had hidden them but 6 of 8 rooms had been rifled through. All my wife 's jewelry had been stolen and some money from two of the kids rooms. There was no sign of forced entry so we concluded a key had been used We spent over 5 hours the next two days with an interpreter just filing a police report. We did not get much sympathy from the management but the kids were very traumatized. We also had great difficulty with the internet connection and despite daily inquiries ( 2 sons really had work to get done back home) finally on the 5th day it was corrected. We were given 2 bottles of wine for our harrowing week. We strongly recommended the owners change the locks.

In April we spend few days in Casa di Bacco - a group of 14 friends. The villa is perfectly located and we were cruising around and visited all marvelous little cities around. Unfortunately the weather was rather cold and rainy so we could not enjoy the pool and pool area in full. But the house itself had all we wanted and we really had excellent time.
