Review: We stayed at this beautiful property in early Agosto.Ottima location, with a Bus Service (with a stop a stone's throw from the property) that leads directly into the center of Siena, cozy and spacious rooms, and the ability to use the pool surrounded by green olive trees.The staff is gentilessimo.Un thanks to Simone, a member of the family of the owners, for the availability and for the great advice on what to visit dintorni.Lo highly recommend! Very convenient the presence of the restaurant pizzeria da Meme, in the immediate vicinity of the structure.

We stayed at this beautiful hotel, about 15 minutes drive from Siena, and we can say that it was a really pleasant experience. The structure is completely surrounded by greenery: it seems to be in a small village of renovated country houses, which have retained all their original charm. The interiors are cared for in every detail: cozy lighting, large television, very comfortable beds and practical and well-finished bathrooms. We stayed in the rooms Spiga 2 and Spiga 3 and had a great time. Each cottage also has a common area, equipped with fridge, microwave and table, perfect for relaxing independently. Very nice also the pool: not huge, but surrounded by nature and ideal for unwinding. Breakfast is plentiful and of excellent quality. A special applause to the staff: the lady at the reception was extremely helpful and the guy who served breakfasts – I think he is part of the family – was really nice and kind, helping to make the stay even more enjoyable. Definitely we will return here on our next visit to Siena and recommend it without hesitation to those seeking relaxation, comfort and authenticity.

The host’s communication was fast and good (he’s the owner). We were first greeted by him in a nearby office to the property, where he explained everything, the route to the hotel, nearby places, etc. Then arrived to the hotel, (It’s a country house), 12 mins from downtown Sienna. To be honest had higher expectations… It’s not bad, but also not the best choice. Its price compared to the other hotels in the center was not the lowest. It’s fine but I have multiple comments. We stayed for 2 nights, booked 2 rooms for the 4 of us. The first night the room smelled, the air conditioner was very tired, and the room didn’t have a nice window to the view as shown in the pictures, turned out the one in the picture is another room, but what most annoyed me is the cleanliness of the bathrooms, it’s not the best. If you pay attention to details, it’s not the cleanest. Before arriving the host mentioned that there is no buffet, and sent us a link to choose what we would like to have for breakfast. The breakfast was fine, not much variety, but local and fine. Simone prepared it in the nearby kitchen to the breakfast area. Asked them in the morning if we could switch rooms to a nicer one, but was told the the other rooms are about to check in soon so unfortunately it won’t be possible, so we have them all our comments. Left to the downtown, not highly satisfied, looked for another hotel in the center (found one with a very similar price), asked the host if we could checkout instead of staying for the second night (was around 1:30 pm), but the host told us unfortunately it won’t be possible because it’s late. Arrived to the hotel in the evening, found they sprayed the room to remove the bad odor scent of the room, they tried cleaning the bathroom (but it wasn’t the cleanest too). They tried to respond to our comments, things got a little better but at the end it still isn’t the best. the host himself is a respectable person, but the facility itself is a bit local, could be better maintained.
