Grand hotel Ambasciatori

Just mediocre both in terms of the type of room (furniture, ventilation, toilets), and the food, especially the New Year's Eve dinner. Good entertainment ( live music) ; Spa : good structure , excessively crowded in the afternoon hours.

Extremely professional and friendly staff, a pleasure of polite and very competent and nice people. The hotel literally falls apart, not acceptable such a level. Absurd winter SPA! The text would not suffice to list its shortcomings. No towels are available, and incredibly there is not even a shower! “Low cost” sauna, too low temperature, ridiculous size, no hourglass and above all no burning stones and water to pour on it. Herbal tea area and shameful water... Relaxation area for 4 people, next to the herbal tea counter. So no silence or background music. To continue would seem rude and this review, does not want to be.

The hotel is located along the main access road of Chianciano Terme, not far from the historic center. It has an indoor Spa, very nice, with a large sauna Jacuzzi, Turkish and Mediterranean bath, emotional showers. On the hotel terrace, above the spa, outside, there is a beautiful outdoor pool. The decor of our room was a little dated but clean and tidy. Large flat screen TV with a very sharp and clear view of many channels. Also the cleanliness of the room was impeccable. Also in our room, the bathroom was small for our taste but functional, with a walk-in shower. Free Wi-Fi and works well, both in the room and in the lobby. All the staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is well assorted, both savory and sweet, A praise to the sympathy of the breakfast lady. Recommended for a relaxing holiday.
