An AMAZING stay! After coming from Rome, this hotel was a breath of fresh air! Stunning grounds, large rooms, open windows to feel the Tuscan breeze. The breakfast with a view of the hills was my favorite part, they made amazing cappuccinos. Lorenzo, thank you for your kindness (Viva Onda!). Do not fret about the walk into the city, there is a bus that runs every 15 minutes just a few steps from the property. Had we stayed inside the city walls, we would have missed out on the Tuscan countryside feel.

We travel. A lot. We’ve stayed many places around the world but we agreed today was hard to leave the Palazzo. Exceptional in every regard and the most generously kind owner, Giacomo. He made us feel welcome and we hope to be welcomed back again soon. Breakfasts will never be the same either….so good. All of the ‘touches’ were delightful. Cookies in the room etc. A treat.

This has to be one of the most charming hotels we have ever had the pleasure of staying in. The warmest of welcomes from Lorenzo & Giacomo and what felt like a true Tuscan experience. Situated 10 minutes walk from the City gate and 20 minutes walk from the very centre of Siena, the little bus running from outside the hotel every 20 minutes was also a real plus. The view from our room on the first floor was breathtaking and being able to enjoy the terrace for the delicious breakfast or for a sundowner was a sheer joy. It felt like stepping into an another world and added to the feeling of escape.
