Hotel Fontermosa

does not meet our expectations Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with our stay at the Hotel Fontermosa. Due to the many positive reviews, especially regarding cleanliness, we had expected significantly more. Already in the public areas and at the reception, we noticed that it was not clean in some places. There was dust, dirt, and numerous cobwebs in the corners. Even during our stay, these areas were not cleaned in our impression. Our first room was also not clean upon arrival. There were numerous hairs on the floor in the room and on the balcony, the sink was dirty, and a towel had clear stains. We reported this at the reception and subsequently asked for another room. Unfortunately, the second room was also not in the condition we had expected. The shower was dirty, the curtains were stained, and the carpet also did not make a clean impression. There were numerous short, dark hairs on the bedspread, which seemed very unhygienic to us. We also found a nicotine tin under the bed. There were two dirty butter knives in a drawer. It was also particularly problematic for us that the room door could not be locked due to a defect. The dishes were also not clean at times during breakfast. The breakfast itself, however, was fine for us. We would like to explicitly highlight the very friendly employee at breakfast, the very nice waiter at dinner, and the beautiful pool. Unfortunately, the so-called pizza bar by the pool did not leave a particularly well-maintained impression on us either. It consists of a simple plastic building, which did not fit the otherwise advertised hotel standard for us. Overall, we did not feel comfortable at all due to the cleanliness and the condition of our room. The situation was so unpleasant for us that we ended our stay early and left the hotel. We therefore unfortunately cannot understand the many positive reviews regarding cleanliness. Our personal experience was significantly different. The photos we took show only a few of the points mentioned.

Friendly staff, fabulous location. Functional and excellent pool.

Very attentive staff. Very quiet, clean. Excellent restaurant.
