San Lorenzo - Santa Caterina

The place is beautiful, the rooms large and respectful of the style of the hotel. Restaurant not chef but good enough. The bathrooms are absurd! Sink, bidet and toilet practically attached with the shower almost on the toilet with curtains with static fabric that sticks on as soon as you close them. In addition to facilitate everything, it is missing brought it, not even a hanger, a towel rail .. nothing.

We stayed at this hotel other times having friends in the area and we always had a great time. This time the room had flaws: the mattresses were very uncomfortable and the shower, without a window, had a glass cabin that closed completely. Unfortunately, during the shower, the entire floor got wet, causing discomfort in the subsequent use of the bathroom. Breakfast is always great: rich and good quality

We stayed here as part of a tour package. There no doubt the the hotel oozes uniqueness. A converted paper mill. The hotel sits on a small river and is accessed via a single lane bridge. Our tour coach had to reverse over the bridge in darkness and a rainstorm as the corner is to tight to makee the right turn. Not for the faint hearted We were allocated rooms at the rear of the property which are accessed by a single lift. The room was clean. The restaurant was ok as was the food. They did have a good wine list however. The local town is 15 minutes down the valley so the hotel itself a little remote. We were part of a tour
