Grand Duomo

This is a great hotel in an excellent location. We were in the hub of all the shops and restaurants and 2 min walk from the leaning tower! The reception and dining areas of the hotel are great but the rooms are really quite dated. It is very clean though and does the job for a short stay. It was a bit odd having no windows to look out of in the room although we went up to the terrace each evening which had spectacular views. Breakfast was plentiful and of good quality.

Excellent breakfast, friendly and welcoming staff, and a great location. Around a 15-minute walk to the Leaning Tower of Pisa and close to a local train station, making it easy to explore the area. We had a wonderful stay and would happily return. One small point to note is that the route to and from the hotel involves passing through an underpass, which was not particularly well lit. We felt safe using it during the daytime, but it may be worth being aware of this if arriving late at night.

Hotel particularly well located 3 minutes' walk from the tower. On the other hand, still stuck in the 70s! For a 4-star hotel, it's borderline. Room with a small bathtub... bedding good, air conditioning okay. Noise from the very busy street, but not too bothersome with the windows closed. Decent breakfast. It's really the decor that's lacking... very dated. Garage available for $25 per night.
