Hotel Il Cavaliere Nero

The cozy room, comfortable bed, the bathroom was fine, the only flaw are the windows (you hear a little noise), hospitality and kindness from the staff, free parking at the back of the hotel. For a 2 star hotel it is perfect.

The hotel was not what we expected. The room smelled like bleach and the bed sheets too. It was very difficult to sleep with the hard detergents they used. Our eyes and skin were irritated by their cleaning detergents. The “towels” were actually tablecloths. The entrance is from the back of a restaurant. It has very poor illumination. The location is also not nice, the neighborhood is a failed american dream with massive walls covering the beach, so you cant see anything.

We stayed a week in this small and familiar hotel for a beach holiday the second week of June in bed and breakfast mode.Basic rooms, quiet and clean, daily change of towels, great breakfast, very kind and helpful staff. Well run hotel, professional staff. It has a delightful relaxation area outside the building and convenient parking. Even the restaurant is a flagship where you can taste excellent dishes. I recommend it and we will return. Normal price and lots of quality. Only detail I would recommend the set menu to be able to apply half board to the customer. Convenient solution especially with children to avoid having to go out to dinner every night in a different place.
