Touring Pisa

I stayed at The Hotel Touring in Pisa for the first time in April and it will definitely be the last time My room was a single room and cannot fault the cleanliness of the room. The cleanliness and location in relation to the train station are the only positives from this property sadly One issue was with the bed. Anytime I moved the bed would move position and in the morning the bed was far away from where it was originally situated next to the wall Having checked in I went out for a bit. Upon returning I entered the lobby and headed for the lift and the receptionist chased after me asking my room number. His attitude was nothing short of abysmal. He said I must hand the key in at reception when leaving the hotel, this wasn’t communicated at check in. Apparently there’s a notice on the door. However the door was opened during the day and early evening so how they expect people to see it is a mystery Next day I got up to go out exploring early morning but could not leave the hotel. The main door was locked and the reception was unmanned. I rang the bell a couple of times and waited a few minutes but there was no movement. I phoned the hotel hoping it might ring in the back office and that’s where the receptionist was but no, the phone at the reception started ringing. I continued to ring the bell for at least 15 minutes before the tall, slim, bearded man with glasses on reception came to let me out. I was hoping to catch a train to Florence but needless to say I missed the one I planned on getting and had to wait for another Another instance of going out for the evening when I was ready to go out there was nobody on reception so no way was I leaving my key on the desk so I took it with me again. I don’t think they’d appreciate me going behind the desk to store my key away myself although the data protection of guests names due to arrive and other sensitive information wasn’t stored away and was visible for all to see. Upon returning I had the misfortune of the same arrogant prat as the evening before Next morning I was about to the leave for the airport and again the useless night manager was nowhere to be seen and waited again for a further 10 minutes before he arrived It’s one thing locking the door at night but at no point should anyone not be able to freely leave the hotel. Nobody should be held against their will and not be able to leave the hotel. Especially when people have early morning flights and trains to catch Avoid this hotel at all costs. There’s far better places out there

Advantages of the hotel: 1 minute from the train station, 10 minutes from the main attractions, 20 minutes from the airport. Major disadvantages: for a price of €90 per night, this hotel is a tragedy; there is no kettle in the room to make tea or even just instant soup, and for breakfast, there is no hot food - beans, bacon, sausage, and even items like bread, croissants, and cold cuts are not fresh. In Hamburg, I paid €70 per night for luxury; I had everything, and here it’s a tragedy - avoid this hotel, only if absolutely necessary; I am very dissatisfied with the quality of the services.

a truly terrible experience, advisable ONLY if you are desperate and have no other choice. Tiny bed, uncomfortable pillows, tiny room, despite being told it was a "Deluxe", absence of mosquito nets and bathroom with a drain that makes you feel sorry, plus the shower with the attempt that splashed everywhere and did not allow you to move. Breakfast was empty, 4 things on the cross and not even the best, the only positive note was the staff, all (minus one) very kind and sunny
