Agriturismo Savernano

After three years we were finally back at Savernano, this special place where we spent our holidays almost every summer from 2008 to 2023. It felt like coming home. From the first moment we were again so warmly received by the family that it seemed as if we had never been away. We enjoyed everything that makes this place so special: the delicious breakfasts, the refined evening meals, the cozy aperitif moments on the terrace with the beautiful view, and the restful hours by the pool. But what really makes this place unique are the people Eva, Davide, Caterina, Cosimo and all the other family members. The reunion with the family was particularly emotional. Over the years they have become much more than hosts; they have won a lasting place in our hearts. Since we have our own B&B in Colombia, we can't come as often as we used to, but this place remains a second home for us. We are grateful for all the beautiful memories we have made here and for the new memories we were allowed to add again during this trip. We are already looking forward to our next return. I’ve had my eye on this place for 10 years and we finally made it 👍 David treats everyone like Family. Everything here is Wonderful ! The dogs, farm, accommodations, wine, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and of course dinner each evening. Dinner is not to be missed and is a pasta course, a meat course with one or two vegetables, bread, olive oil, and a dessert. We also got a bottle of water, a bottle of wine, & coffee. The dinners here spoiled us for the rest of our Tuscan Trip. We shipped 6 bottles of wine & 6 bottles of Olive Oil back to Atlanta, since the Quality is so High, you can’t get this in stores. This place is simply idyllic. From the site in the hills and vineyards of Chianti, to the rooms, the food, the hosts and even the two adorable little dogs, it is like a movie set. 5 stars all the way.
