Fattoria di Mandri

Nice place in Tuscany to go explore the area by car. Nice and quiet and beautiful garden and a pool. The cottages and the rooms are not equipped with air conditioning but mobile air conditioning and fans above the bed. You can cook in the kitchens and there are refrigerators.

For us this was a dream location. We had booked an apartment for 5 people and were allocated 'viola'. The apartment was exactly how it was shown on the website. The interior was cozy. Immediately you felt at home. When opening the shutters one overlooked olive gardens and pine trees, the sun shining over the countryside... felt as a Tuscan dream. From Mandri we visited Lucca, Florence, Pisa, Siena,... we found the location a perfect base for our trips. One can perfectly prepare dinner at home but during our stay we have discovered some real gems to have dinner around the area. The owners as well as the staff were very friendly and accommodating to requests. Giving advise and sharing stories.

We stayed in Fattoria di Mandri with our family of five. The location was quite difficult to find when we first arrived, but once we walked from the parking lot to the villa we knew ... 'This is going to be a wonderful location'. The reception was very hospitable, we were shown around in the apartment. We opened the window and the view was absolutely breathtaking. The rooms were spaceous and decorated in a typical Tuscan style. We had two rooms and two bathrooms, both with all required facilities. The location is great, close to all big cities and the ideal starting point for excursions. The road down the hill is a little curvy, but after a day or two you feel a real italian when driving there. The biggest asset of the location are the staff and the owners. They really make you feel welcome, 'mi casa es su casa' is truely experienced at Fattoria di Mandri!
