Hotel & Residence Villa Lo Scoglietto

We stayed 4 nights at the end of August. Very positive for the private beach a stone's throw from the hotel and the outdoor gardens. The same cannot be said for the rooms and their cleanliness: a very small bathroom and a lot of dust on the furniture and closets. Two days before our arrival, we were notified that the air conditioning system was out of order. To compensate for this, they gave us a fan with an infinite amount of dust, which did nothing but increase the level of dirt in the room. Furthermore, we were unable to open the window because of a beehive in the cavity. Once the air conditioning was restored and turned on, we found a lake of condensation in the room (fortunately, there were no suitcases underneath). Upon our reporting all the inconveniences we had, the owner explicitly invited us to leave if the hotel was not to our liking. By insisting, we managed to get another accommodation for the last two nights. The absurd thing is that at check-out we were not given a $1 discount, nor were there any apologies for the inconvenience. We will never return.

From August 21 to 24, 2026, at this hotel booked directly from the site. Located in San Vincenzo (LI), the hotel's strong point is the splendid wooded outdoor space that leads to the access to the private beach. Totally immersed in greenery, even the window of our room overlooked a huge tree that alone gave a feeling of coolness (which in this scorching summer was no small thing). The assigned room was rather small with a bathroom and a shower stall of barely sufficient size. On the other hand, the spaces were very well divided with spacious closets capable of comfortably holding all the luggage. The small size of the accommodation was in any case amply compensated by the outdoor spaces that offer great pleasantness to the stay. The space on the beach is also nice and comfortable with umbrellas adequately separated from each other. Good breakfast with a good choice of sweet (frozen cakes) and savory items and with an excellent tray of assorted fresh fruit. Very kind and courteous staff, always available to provide useful advice. The hotel is equipped with paid parking, but it is very easy to find totally free spots along the street. Overall experience more than sufficient, also for the small town of San Vincenzo, which is very pleasant, welcoming, and has a promenade along the namesake tourist port that comes alive from lunchtime onwards thanks to the many bars and restaurants that overlook the street.

Only one night at this hotel. Fantastic location, directly on the very beautiful beach with a beach umbrella, sunbed, and deckchair included in the room price. Lovely and pleasant garden with bar service. Room equipped not only with air conditioning but also with ceiling fans above the bed, very useful during muggy nights. The property is dated and the bathroom is small, but the negative side is represented by the lack of care. Poor room cleanliness; we found hair in the shower and a shower glass panel detached and tilted. The sheet was laid directly on the mattress without even a mattress cover to ensure hygiene. On the balcony, which was otherwise equipped with a drying rack with clothespins, an abandoned beer can and a dirty small table. Breakfast, despite the kindness of the staff, consisted of poor quality products. It's a shame because the hotel has great potential and perhaps has seen better days. Considering the price paid, one expects better attention toward customers.
