Simple hotel but too expensive for what it offers. Basic rooms, modest breakfast. There is no agreement with parking lots. There is a restaurant they own in the square with a 10% discount. It is as you like it.

We arrived in Volterra on a Sunday afternoon. Unaware that a large race car and classic car show was taking place in the main square. The city was full of cheerful visitors; it was impossible to find a parking space. We decided to wait in the small parking lot right in front of the city gate and after 45 minutes, we found a spot (paid about 15 euros until the next morning at 10 AM). The hotel is located 50 meters behind the gate. Very friendly reception, a spacious room with a large bathroom, everything was clean. The room also included a cozy garden seating area, unfortunately, it was a bit too cool to enjoy it. Small but fine breakfast buffet. Great location to explore the beautiful city.

Really nice hotel in a very central street of Volterra. It has spacious, elegant and well-kept rooms. The staff and 'very kind, welcoming and very prepared. Hearty and quality breakfast. They allowed us to park the bike inside, and keep it until the departure the next day, at no additional cost. The only "annoying flaw", certainly not attributable to the structure, a few too many shouts of Saturday night, with very rude and uncivilized boys who do not fail to disturb excessively whenever they find themselves passing by the hotel street. The city and the authorities need to do more. Hotel we will definitely return to, very fulfilling experience.
