B&B La Capinera

We stayed here 3 nights. We arrived by car and the place was easy to find and had good parking space. The owner was very welcoming and apologised for speaking only a little English but still everything necessary was understood. The room was clean, bed comfortable and the bathroom well equipped. The room had its own balcony where it was nice to sit and eat snacks in the evening. The breakfast was awesome. The long table was filled with different sweet pastries but also had bread, yoghurt, muesli and corn flakes. The coffee was freshly made just for you. We definitely recommend this B&B!

Our wonderful, charming, friendly host Christiana picked us up from Assisi Railway Station and after a short five minute drive we arrived at her bed and breakfast ideally situated in a quiet cul-de-sac. The rooms we had were clean, tidy and both had balconies overlooking the town of Assisi itself. Breakfast were amazing, all cooked by Christiana and included rolls, pastries, meats, cheeses, egg flans, corn flakes, juices and coffee. Although Christiana speaks little english she was always there to assist us and join in conversations with my mate Ron who speaks Italian. Close to transport, restaurants and the town of Assisi - give this bed and breakfast a priority on your list of where to stay in Assisi - you won't regret it. Very reasonably priced.

We stayed 4 nights at La Capinera. It is a well appointed B&B in a quiet neighbourhood location that is about 500 meters from the Assisi Rail Station. The rooms were spotlessly clean with small balconies and views of Assisi. The host, Christiana was welcoming and provided a magnificent home cooked selection for breakfast. Comfortable rooms, an engaging host made for a great few days. Nearby train and bus allow easy travel to Assisi and Cortona as day trips. Recommend the restaurant at Hotel Moderno nearby (opposite the train station) for traditional Umbrian cuisine costing about 75 Euro 3 courses and wine for 4 adults.
