Hotel but not a hotel, the reception is only present for a few hours, it would seem more like a B&B. Property in the heart of the historic center in a good location, but you need to organize yourself with luggage; the car must be left in parking lots and you have to walk a bit and take stairs (to be considered if you have children, strollers, elderly people). The rooms are very clean. Some rooms do not have an en-suite bathroom, but you have to go out into the hallway and access your own private bathroom. Clean and modernized bathroom complete with a very well-stocked accessory kit from slippers to toothbrush and toothpaste. Minimal breakfast. The lady we found at the property was helpful and very kind.

Rooms are tidy, clean, and have everything necessary; breakfast is abundant and well-maintained. Treated with great courtesy.

It’s true it’s a 2 star hotel but a so-called suite room sells for 180 euros a day (B&B) for two nights. It is called Hotel but there is no continuous reception, a person only at certain times. The room has a strong musty smell, they should know, right? And to the request to receive the cleaning the day after our arrival they reply that the two stars cleans every 3 days unless exceptional cases.... And isn’t it that of a room that smells? Breakfast starts at 8:30, so it is not good if you have to leave Assisi early, as it happened for us. The customer feels cheated... in the city of hospitality... maybe the crisis makes everything more difficult, but having raised the price you still have to give more to customers.
