Abbazia Dei Collemedio

This was my second stay at this beautiful hotel and once again it was just like being in paradise. Molto grazie Rachele e le signoras in reception, Mario, Julia e I signors e le signoras in il restaurant, Luigi e Elisa in la piscina bar. Tornero in l'anno prossimo September 2027. Buon Natale e Buon Anno 2027 Location, Atmosphere, Room, Value perfetto!!!

We stayed 5 nights at this magical resort: excellent spaces, spectacular landscape, very welcoming and friendly staff, food always varied and of excellent quality. Warm greetings to the manager, to Olivia and Francesca at the front desk, to the maitre d' Giorgio, and to the staff in the dining room (Cristina, Marian, Mario, Giulia). A high-level resort, but one where we felt at home. Don't miss the spa: pamper yourselves! See you soon

We were part of a bus tour from Luxembourg. The hotel as such was quite ok. Friendly staff. Nice pool area. Rooms a bit out-dated but nothing objective to say against. However the food was a disaster. Nearly all of our party of 28 was unhappy. Poor presentation, no or minor side dishes. No love for appetizing presentation. 1st evening chicken fillet with a little bit of sauce. Rest of plate empty. Day 2 chicken was replaced by dry turkey, day 3 small slices of pork and nothing else except a huge bowl of too salted salted for the entire table. We tried to send back and order à la carte at our cost, not possible. Lacking flexibility. Only the 4th and last evening after intervention of our tour guide, the meal improved from horrible to just acceptable. I agree that in this case for large groups of some 28 people and with a limited budget you cannot expect miracles. But this….. See title Conclusion: we liked Umbria and consider to return. But we know already one hotel to avoid
