Torre Sangiovanni B&B - Restaurant

Near the Sanctuary of Mother Hope, stands the castle of Collevalenza, an ancient fortified village inside which, where the tower rises, we find this enchanting B&B, cared for in every detail, which welcomes the tourist in an atmosphere of times past. Delightful and clean room in perfect retro style but without giving up the comforts. A charming little bridge terrace completes the beauty of the location. Breakfast doesn't offer a huge selection, but the quality is remarkable with homemade cakes and good cold cuts. Highly recommended for those who choose the experience of immersing themselves in the tranquility of a beautiful ancient village.

We were at the Da Rosary restaurant on a Monday evening for dinner. Great commitment and availability from the owner, but disappointing results due to the staff being a bit unprepared and awkward. A meat second course that was incomplete, lacking the bruschetta listed on the menu, and a side of "ripassata" chicory that was completely tasteless, practically just boiled and nothing more. The bruschetta was brought later with the apologies of Mrs. Rosary, and we preferred to remain silent about the chicory to avoid being harsh on the staff. In short, a lot of effort and good will, but a poor result. Dinner in the garden was, all in all, pleasant in a relaxing environment.

Charming place, high-quality furnishings with great attention to detail and cleanliness. Excellent dinner and breakfast with various homemade cakes. Very favorable location for moving around and admiring the wonders of Umbria.
