I stayed at the Hotel Bosone Palace in Gubbio, and the experience was truly very pleasant. The property is located in the heart of the historic center, just a few steps from the main attractions of the city, allowing one to fully experience the unique atmosphere of this splendid medieval village. The hotel is housed within a historic noble palace, characterized by elegant environments, frescoes, and furnishings that convey charm and history. The room was cozy, clean, and well-maintained, while the staff consistently proved to be kind, professional, and willing to provide useful advice for visiting Gubbio. The breakfast, served in a charming frescoed room, was an added value to the stay, offering a pleasant start to the day. I particularly appreciated the combination of the historical charm of the property and modern comforts, which make the stay relaxing and authentic. I highly recommend the Hotel Bosone Palace to anyone wishing to spend a few days in Gubbio immersed in history, art, and Umbrian hospitality. Certainly a place I would gladly return to. The only downside is that, being located in the historic center of Gubbio, it is a ZTL area, so one's vehicle cannot park in front of the hotel but in parking areas outside the center a bit away.

What a shocking hotel. Definitely not the 4 star as advertised. Firstly we were not contacted by the Hotel to inform us we would not be able to drive to it to drop off our luggage as there was a lot of roadworks and some of these were outside the Hotel. We had to park in the car park and drag our cases up the hill and finally up the very steep stone steps at the side of the Hotel. Very poor customer service. The room was supposed to be a superior room but it was very basic and the furniture and bathroom had seen better days. Our room was next to the breakfast room so we were awoken very early by crashing and banging of cutlery, plates, etc. All in all not a good experience and glad we were only there for 1 night. That said, the town of Gubbio is beautiful and worth a visit

excellent hotel both as a room and as a location the friendly and helpful staff have delivered a 10% discount for some restaurants in the area highly recommended
