Highly recommended hotel both for location and for the kindness, courtesy and availability of the staff.

This hotel has a brilliant location, right on the lakeside. It has a lovely feeling and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are comfortable and clean . All in all a very good hotel in a great location

While the location is good (right in town on lake edge), the staff were nice, and it had convenient parking, overall the hotel is tired. The photos made it look way newer than it was. The room was small, and the bathroom was even smaller (website doesn’t show it and no wonder) you could barely get into it and around the door, let alone stretch out to dry yourself from the shower. We had a triple and we always had to ask for the third towel, it never got left when cleaned. The towel rail was also so high we could barely reach it. Thankfully the beds were comfortable and it had nice linen. Hardly any of the Powerpoints in the room actually worked which was frustrating for charging phones or even boiling the jug they supplied (but even if that plug had worked the cord was too short to even reach anyway, so to plug in the jug you had to stand with the kettle beside the main door and hold it at waist height while it boiled). I would consider it probably a 2.5 star, at best 3 star (not 4 as some suggest online). The breakfast is just ok - you get a basic plastic cup to drink your juice out of. Looking around the town though there probably isn’t anything better than this standard anyway.
