The place is very nice. Mister Gvidorello Mencarelli is the owner and he is the very inteligent and open person. The food is brilliant. Svetlana who helps him also very nice person. Very proof price for delicious local food.

The place is very quiet and cosy with beautiful views of the mountains. The food served is tasty and with typical Umbrian flavour. The staff are extremely friendly reading your wishes literally from your eyes. One of the staff member speaks also Russian.I would suggest that place for pleasant accommodation.

The exquisite, small hill town of Solomeo, restored by fashion designer Brunello Cucinelli, is worth a visit and a stay in the only local hotel, Agriturismo Vocabolo Palazzo. We went by train for only one night and did not have a car, so the gracious owner and chef picked us up and delivered us to the train station. Our room was very clean and had a lovely view of the Umbrian countryside. The chef prepared a delicious Umbrian dinner of several courses and provided a simple, perfect breakfast. This would be a great place to stay to explore Umbria by car. Parking is available.
