*we recommend taking popcorn*
I stayed as a wedding guest .. beautiful location, well-kept garden and surrounded by nature. Pretty good dinner I have to say. Bald waiter very professional and kind.
Well, now that I have listed the positives let's move on to the negatives (too many).
First of all when booking we were NOT warned that (in 3) our room (which, so as not to cry, we nicknamed refuge) was 350m of scree - 6 minutes walk (Google Maps) from the reception that then gives to the actual location, with slope (attached photo). As soon as we arrive at about 15:30 we discover that the refuge is not yet ready to welcome us (check in at 14) so we already leave badly. The first thing we notice (already sweating from the climb with luggage) is that in the bathroom there were only about 6 between soaps and shampoos and one says oh well, we will ask for more (continue...). "Bathroom" is a compliment: toilet without bidet, shower without plate or curtain, ridiculous mirror and toilet paper that when you shower gets soaked, as well as the floor that requires amphibians to be able to enter after showering (attached photo). Then I try my 'bed' which is downstairs, going down a spiral staircase that has a big wooden step that lifts (risk falling and getting hurt): I find that I will have to sleep on a folding puff with 3 foam-rubber pillows separated from each other. I'm in the tree. I go and talk to the manager and she says 'the poof is a square and a half' and 'nobody complained'. The problem is the lack of mattress (which I pay as much as other guests in other rooms) not the size. In addition, there were no electric towels as in other rooms; therefore, cloths and tablecloths hung at the worst on the stairway handrails (there were no clothes hangers or other wall hangers).
The filthy pool full of all sorts of insects (if you know guests are coming to a wedding en masse, at least have it cleaned first, in the morning). So I bathe with bees and half-conscious horseradish.
The tablecloth change happens after 2pm so if you end up at the shelter where there is no electric towel and you have the wet tablecloth from the day before well, for the shower in the morning you will have to dry en plein air. Room full of dust, if you blow at the window in backlight (my jacket I had to clean it from dust on the wedding day).
Dear Madam, when a customer makes a complaint, they respond with 'yes' followed by 'we will see to it wherever possible'. Price of camp bed and hostel room at the top of Monte Grappa, away from all other guests, the bride and groom and the pool and services? 50 €/day. And they even answer me if I make a complaint? The other guests also paid the same amount, but did not have to walk the Santiago walk 4 times a day (to eat, go to the pool, use the bar and whatnot). So I can say I've been robbed.
Ps: the story of bubble baths in the bathroom? When, in the pool with the bride and groom and the other guests, we took a beer paying for it at the bar, we kindly asked if you could have more shower gel (in 3 with 6 shower gel for 2 days means that if you take a shower in the morning, after the pool you no longer wash?) and we were answered by the manager the following, with a fake smile and a ché annoyance 'are we the soap factory?'.
But dear lady, I can take as many showers as I want a day will be my business, and that's fine, but what answers do you give to those staying with you? It should put people at ease and be nice at least the minimum union..
I wonder how they're still open. It's probably because they have weddings, otherwise no one would come back. Not me, not at this price and with this Annoyance Processing. I apologize for booking with you. Ah there is no wifi at the shelter. (In my room, downstairs called a bunker, there is no signal at all)
A special greeting to the caged black pig, fenced on the way to the shelter..
